Thanks to a PA4X owner who exported most of his Pa4X factory styles as MIDI SMF, I can now convert the missing ones to the PA600.
As the process is long and sometimes difficult, because the PA4X styles are complex with several Chord Variation and different root scales, here are only the two first styles I converted: “Kiss Sky Pop” and “Falling Dance”
They sound different from the PA4X due to sounds changes and different STS and Pads.
I hope you’ll appreciate. More coming later …

Korg is incredible. They just release a new OS with a major functionality addition, 5 years after Korg PA600 arrived on the market.
With this v2.0 of the OS, you can officially enter the sampling mode, i.e. samples edition. No hack needed.
Thanks a lot Korg for this upgrade at no cost ! I’ve now chosen my next keyboard’s brand.

With PA700 and PA1000, Korg updates the PA600 and PA900 with more memory, more functions and the great Kaoss feature, already available on the PA4X since the OS v2.
New sounds and styles are available too, as usual. But it seems they still rely on the Dopamine set to fill the empty slots of their huge memory !
As I can’t test the set on these new beasts, you are welcome to share your experience after loading the Dopamine set on a PA700 or on PA1000. Check the download section !
